In the academic hospital Leiden (LUMC), the current Endoscopy treatment rooms are undergoing renovation. The installed fixed LiveConnect setup is also being revamped. Connections between the treatment rooms and the meeting room are being established using fiber optics to ensure optimal patient safety. Additionally, all medical sources in the rooms can be integrated into the setup. The programming of the control system has been adjusted to allow for fully intuitive operation by the staff.

Amsterdam LiveEndoscopy is an annual event that takes place in Amsterdam. From three Endo treatment rooms at Amsterdam UMC, the live images are transmitted to the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam.
